* Take ownership of special projects as assigned by supervisor, including the ongoing use and testing of technologies to support online course quality and academic integrity. * Develop methodologies and assessment techniques that address course and material usability and accessibility. * Design, develop, and deliver faculty training and tutorials for both new and experienced instructors. * Function as a departmental contact for ADA course accessibility accommodations. * Provide oversight of the quarterly course life cycle, including outreach to faculty, course setup, and appropriate follow up. * Assist in the management of the department email inbox and help ticketing system, coordinating other departmental staff as appropriate to resolve issues and requests. * Assist faculty in the recording, editing, and publishing of course lectures and related media. * Provide pedagogical and instructional design consultation and support for faculty in developing online (synchronous and asynchronous), hybrid, and web-enhanced courses. * Provide LMS support for faculty, as well as students taking business courses. Support users in the use of the online course system (LMS), work collaboratively with other team members in the production of online courses and assets, and assist in the creation of innovative solutions for challenges faced by team and instructors. The Instructional Technologist will be responsible for supporting the delivery of online course content, recording and editing related course media, and facilitating the use of the university's Learning Management System (LMS) and other instructional technology tools.Īssist faculty in the design, development, and support of online courses, and provide instructional design guidance to subject matter experts in the creation of online course content.
